Webinar four of our “Network Analysis for Business Performance” series focuses on finding and using public data. Historically, social and organizational network analysis has been done with survey or interview data. Yet there are many other sources of network data available, both private and public. Private data may include common business data within your organization. Public data is available to everyone and can often be downloaded in various formats. These other forms of data are often very rich, revealing multimode networks (more than one relationship). This session will show various projects of alternate network data within the organization, between organizations, and among various entities in the business world. Network data is everywhere. This session will show you how to spot it, and utilize it, in your pursuit of understanding the world you live/work in.
